I've also made enough parenting mistakes that I am way beyond blaming my parents for any of my "stuff." Most parents do the very best they can...always with whatever they have. Most are just trying to rear a well-adjusted adult who won't make trouble for himself or others.

How much can I emphasize the gift of ACCEPTANCE? Never enough. Without acceptance, I have no problem, no need to improve, no motivation to change...

Let's face it, Grammy might be running out of brown on top of her head, but her feet are on the ground and moving. I will not stop learning. I will not stop my resolution to accept. I will continue to put the principles of the ATTACKING ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION program into my life. What a gift to myself, my children, my grandchildren...

Happy New Year,

Dear Midwest Center,

We left San Francisco airport and landed in Heathrow Airport, London for a wonderful vacation with our son and family. It was so wonderful to visit them in their new home. It was so wonderful to see my grand-daughter, age 16. I had missed almost all of her growing up years because I was so afraid to fly!

Just like you promised... I had a wonderful trip. I even fell asleep!... I tried really hard to scare myself...I couldn't!.. I really, really enjoyed looking down at the clouds and enjoyed my meals and knew that I would never again miss any of life's opportunities because of fear of flying.

I felt the bumps and thuds of the airplane and was not in the least Concerned! We are planning a t rip to Norway for the summer. I am so delighted that I don't know enough words to thank you all and thank God for sending your program to me. The photo- on my way to see the Globe theatre at Riverbank, London.

Yeah, yippee, I can fly like a bird. I am a bird!

Hugs and hugs and hugs,
Lillian
