Dear Lucinda,
"I am only 16 years old and before I had the program I thought there was no way out for me. I was on anti-depressants and they either did not work or I was too afraid to take them.
One night I was laying on the couch with my mom like I did every night, because she was my "safe place" when I was anxious and in a panic-like state. She told me to watch the infomercial and right away I knew I had to get it. (the program) I couldn't wait for the tapes to come; I just wanted to run away from myself.
I have finished the program and I am using it in the best way possible. I am more outgoing than I have ever been in my life. I am using my anxiousness to ACT. I have joined school plays and activities. I have talents I never knew I had.
I am goal setting and planning for my future. I have turned my negative anxiety outward, and since I am a teenager I help my friends out with their anxious times, because now I have the skills.
There are so many teens out there that would benefit from this program and parents also. I went through some rough times before the program. Last year a friend of mine killed himself because of Depression...he was drinking to hide his pain.
...I am a new person. I am so thankful for the Midwest Center, for this program. I have a new appreciation for life..."

Thank you for your response to my letter. You have been an inspiration to me for the past several months. I love your energy. I can't tell you how many times in a day I say to myself, "JUST DO IT." I am doing so many things, little everyday things, that I would put off or think of a reason not to do them.
I thank you for your candor about your own experiences and for dedicating your career to this mission for me and so many other people.
Lucinda, God is working through you and you are carrying out His mission so beautifully. Your program and the people on your tapes have touched me so deeply. My life has changed dramatically. I thank you for that gift. More importantly I thank myself for sticking with the program and doing such a fantastic job with it.
One early morning I saw your television advertisement and really connected with it. I began the program immediately. I followed it to the letter. It was my support at a very dark time in my life. I related to each lesson and felt like it was all common sense but thank God someone put it all together for me. Especially someone with the same experiences as me."
