A happy new year we wish to all,
The wise and the simple, the great and the small,
Good health, good nature, and good cheer,
With pleasant homes and kindred dear...
Joy to lighten toil and care,
Love abounding everywhere.
From January to December
May each have pleasures to remember.

Inez N. McFee, The Year's Enterainments, 1909

A new year, a new broom. We have the opportunity to sweep the dust of last year behind the door. We have the opportunity to look at our wishes, make them desires and work hard on our goals. We can resolve to allow NO "mice" to frighten us. No mice will keep up on top of the table, psudo safe. We will tromp straight to the path that leads to our goal. We may feel fear...we will do it anyway. Carolyn: self talk for January...see you at the gym
